The first weekend of the 2026 NCAA Tournament is in the books. 64 teams have been narrowed down to 16. Between Thursday and Sunday, we saw hundreds of players cross the court. Some of them were bound for the NBA long before the ball tipped on their first March Madness game. Others are carving out a name for themselves as week speak.
Since several readers of this site probably watched the college action unfold, we want to ask you a question today. Which player(s) impressed you most as you look ahead
to possible NBA careers? Answers can come in at least two flavors:
- If you’re talking about the top 5-6 guys that are already destined for high-lottery status, which of them separated themselves from the pack, either positively or in a cautionary way? How do you parse out the ultra-high candidates based on what you’ve seen? Who is looking like a can’t-miss prospect and who are you beginning to worry about?
- The best part of the March Madness experience is seeing players you either hadn’t known about before or didn’t know enough about. Who did you notice that makes you say, “Heyyyy…I kinda hope the Trail Blazers take a look at his guy?”
