On gameday Saturday, Mizzou Football has added to their 2026 recruiting class. The program is hosting a lot of recruiting visitors in their top-15 matchup against Alabama, and Eli Drinkwitz has landed
another commitment. In-state product from Jackson, Missouri Brysen Wessell has committed to Mizzou, he announced on Twitter (X).
Missouri was able to flip Wessell from a notable power conference program in Iowa State. At Jackson High School, Wessell was a member of the all-district and all-state teams. He was also named 2025 CBJ Male Athlete of the Year.
Wessell has been recruited as a defensive lineman, but the expectation is for him to join Mizzou as an offensive lineman as True Deck notes.
Wessell’s commitment is now the 15th overall in Missouri’s 2026 recruiting class. For more information, check out RockM+.
