On Sunday afternoon, the New Orleans Saints fell to 1-8 on the season after losing 34-10 to the Los Angeles Rams, which is their worst start since 1980. The Saints offense now led by rookie QB Tyler Shough
just couldn’t get anything going in every aspect. Shough went 15 of 24 for 176 yards, throwing both a touchdown and interception. The offensive line gave up 3 big sacks, including one helmet-to-helmet hit on Shough that drew a roughing the passer call on the Rams.
We also saw Alvin Kamara rush for just 14 yards on 6 carries and uncharacteristically fumble in the 3rd quarter. There were again too many missed catches and connections with the receiving group in a lopsided game where the Saints controlled the ball only 16:07 minutes to the Rams 43:53 minutes.
So in this week’s reacts poll, we’re asking our readers what they think is the biggest area of concern that the Saints are facing on offense? Vote in this week’s poll and let us know your thoughts.
