Cleveland Browns fans are flying high right now after back-to-back wins to improve to 2-1. Instead of there being a benching of Deshaun Watson, a plot twist has emerged that not many people saw coming: he’s looked as good as he ever has in a Browns uniform, and has led a go-ahead touchdown drive in both victories.
It doesn’t seem out of the
question that Shedeur Sanders could still replace Watson at some point this season, but for the moment, Watson has quieted those talks. With that said, I wanted to ask about it in our Reacts poll this week: how are you feeling about Watson? This question does not imply anything about long-term implications — in other words, I’m not asking fans to make a judgment call about 2027 and beyond. This is simply about his current state as the team’s starting quarterback — which response most closely aligns with your mentality?

Our other question is the usual confidence meter for the Browns, and whether you like the direction the team is headed in. After seeing how the defense has come alive, and then thinking about Cleveland’s easy schedule, now all of a sudden they look like a potential playoff team. It is noted that the quality of their opponents they beat — Tampa Bay and Carolina — might be fairly low, but hey, that can help build team confidence for when those bigger games come up.
