Natalia Markova is racking up impressive victories since winning the NWA Women’s World Championship. After dethroning Kenzie Paige, challengers have been coming far and wide. Former WWE wrestler Shotzi Blackheart tried her hand, but the Crush prevailed. Next up was former TNA Knockout and current MLP champion
Gisele Shaw. Markova made the Quintessential Diva the latest victim on NWA Powerrr (S26 E7).After a collar-and-elbow lockup stalemate, the action picked up quickly. Markova uncorked kicks to set up the splits leg drop. Shaw came back by sweeping the leg on the apron then blasting a dropkick to knock Markova down to the floor. Shaw followed with a brutal spinebuster onto the apron.
Markova roared back for superkicks and the Jazz Stinger. Shaw kicked out on the cover. Markova’s next big move came on a knee strike. That wasn’t enough to finish Shaw.
The Quintessential Diva stormed back for a fireman’s carry Michinoku driver and a backbreaker to flatliner combo. Markova showed championship heart refusing to lose.
The Crush turned the tide with a big boot knocking Shaw out of the air. Markova finished with a missile dropkick to retain the Burke. The champ’s title reign is building up by knocking down names of value.
