What is the story about?
The Pittsburgh Steelers have released quarterback Logan Woodside from the practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.
Woodside spent the preseason with the Steelers, joining the team after Will Howard suffered a hand injury in training camp. He was released on August 22nd and brought back to the practice squad on September 10th. With Skylar Thompson and Will Howard being eligible to come off IR, though, Woodside will now look
for a new team.
The Steelers will face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. A win will send them to 5-2 on the year. A loss, however, puts them at 4-3 and gives the Cincinnati Bengals a chance to take the lead in the AFC North.
