A few days ago, the word going around seemed to be that Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken might make a decision on who his No. 1 quarterback will be after minicamp, so that everyone knows what to expect once training camp rolls around. He deviated a little from that expectation
following today’s session, when he said that the quarterback competition “will continue into training camp” because Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders have earned that:
Nonetheless, over the next few days, it’s still possible that we’ll see the reps or performance lead to a reading between the lines of who is ahead and truly the No. 1 quarterback heading into training camp. If it were up to you, Browns fans, would you rather see Monken pick a quarterback now, regardless of whether it’s the guy you personally prefer? Or, do you support the competition being extended to during training camp?
