The Dallas Mavericks (4-10) visit the Minnesota Timberwolves (8-5) on Monday night. Dallas is playing on the second night of a back-to-back; they beat the Blazers on Sunday night in overtime. The Timberwolves had
a day off after losing to the Nuggets on Saturday night.
Here’s the main things you need to know before the game kicks off.
- WHO: Dallas Mavericks at Minnesota Timberwolves
- WHAT: A second win? Is that too much to ask?
- WHERE: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN
- WHEN: 7:00 p.m. CST
- HOW: KFAA Channel 29, MavsTV streaming, NBA League Pass, and also Playback with Kirk
Dallas has a long injury report again. After Kyrie Irving, Dante Exum, and Anthony Davis, Dallas will also be without Dereck Lively, who is resting for injury management, and Daniel Gafford. who is also missing the game following the Blazers match-up. Here comes starting center Moussa Cisse. The Timberwolves are pretty healthy!
This one seems bad for Dallas on paper. But hey, who knows, Dallas looked good last night. Maybe they can win a second game in a row.
There’s a few things up on the site that are new. Please go read what we’ve done so far.
As you can tell below, you can join me in a room on Playback (embed below) during the game (though I may not be able to start it until halftime). Also consider joining Josh and I on Pod Maverick live after the game on YouTube, we should start around 10:15 pm. Thanks so much for spending time with us here at Mavs Moneyball. Let’s go Mavs!
