Jon Jones is back to his flip-flopping ways as the UFC legend just teased an Octagon return after claiming his “gloves are hung up.”
The last few years of Jones’ legendary fighting career have been wild to say the least. Between injury, personal issues, run-ins with the law, and painful contract negotiations, “Bones” always seems to be one foot in, one foot out when it comes to actually competing. Remember, Jones announced his retirement back in June 2025 just to un-retire a few weeks later.
The man
simply can’t be trusted.
Well, Jones is back at it again. The former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion recently revealed he’s done with fighting during a trip to Russia with Yoel Romero. It’s not the first time Jones has stated he’s walking away from the sport so fight fans took it with a grain of salt. Good thing they did because “Bones” once again left the door open for a UFC return on Friday night after speaking with UFC executive, Hunter Campbell, at Dirty Boxing Championship 6 in Miami, Fla., which is where UFC 327 is being held on Saturday night.

“We had that conversation tonight,” revealed Jones. “I took a stem cell right before the White House card was curated. I’m starting to feel the effects, I feel really good physically.
“Let’s not put any pressure on anything. I’m gonna focus on coaching Gable right now, but who knows what the future holds.”
