The United States Men’s U-20 National Team are back in action this afternoon as they take on France in their second group stage match at the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup. The USA is coming off a 9-1 opening
victory against New Caledonia, which included Benja Cremaschi scoring a hat trick and adding 2 assists in 73 minutes of play. Nolan Norris also added a brace for the Americans.
Now, after taking on the French Sui generis territory and taking care of business, they now take on the parent country in France, who opened by grinding out a 2-1 win over South Africa. This should be a much tougher matchup for the Americans, but hopefully they can bring the confidence from the New Caledonia match to keep the French on their back heels. The winner of this match will have a leg up in Group E and have the lead with one match to play.
