King Green banked a $100,000 bonus check in July for his buzzer-beating finish over Terrance McKinney at UFC 329 (relive that here). That was Green’s fourth win in a row and seventeenth in the Octagon. Despite his long and successful tenure as a UFC pay-per-view (PPV) mainstay, Green is apparently homeless right now.
That bombshell admission came during a livestream by someone called BarbozaJr on Kick.
A clip from that stream was uploaded onto X, showing Green discussing his current living situation.
“So I was telling Sean, I’ve got like nine houses right now, but I’m fucking homeless right now,” Green said. “All my homies live in all of my homes and shit, so I’m fucking living out my car as we speak. Which is crazy, you know?”
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen an odd story about Green’s lifestyle. Earlier this year he told the press that his ex-girlfriend allegedly made off with $300,000 worth of jewellery from his home. It’s not clear if he was living at the home at that time.
During that media scrum Green also spoke about how tough it’s been for him this year and the pressure he has been under to share the wealth.
“People have been playing with my heart,” Green said. “People have been playing my money. Everybody that come near me, I gotta feel like, what are you here for? Because they think you got some money. I bought a strip club and they’re like, ‘Oh, you got money. You’re a strip club owner. You got money. You got money.’ So people play with you a certain way.”
Green is currently booked to face Esteban Ribovics at UFC 332 in October. With his and Ribovic’s combined reputation for violence (and how awful the rest of that card is), there’s a good chance Green banks another $100,000 bonus check there. That could be good for a down payment on house No. 10.
