There’s only one game tonight with Washington set to host Denver late night on BTN.

Washington will look to try to improve to 2-0 with a win tonight against
Denver. In the season opener the Huskies rolled past Arkansas Pine-Bluff 94-50, led by Hannes Steinbach’s 21 points. Washington shot 49.2% from the field and 40% from three while getting to the line for 33 attempts. They did, however, commit 14 turnovers and ran a relatively thin rotation that went only eight deep in a game that was essentially decided by halftime.
Their opponent tonight isn’t much better per KenPom (336th compared to Arkansas Pine Bluff at 364th) and is coming in tonight following a season opening loss at Seattle by 11 points. Denver shot only 37.5% from the field and committed 18 turnovers. Last year Seattle landed an upset over Washington two days before Christmas, one of two non-conference losses for the Huskies in 2024-25.
This is another relatively easy cupcake for the Huskies that should be easily winnable. Washington does need to work on cutting back on their turnovers, but if their offense stays at the same level as their first game they should be fine tonight. The Huskies had a few bad non-conference losses last year and will look to avoid one tonight.
