This could be one of the biggest questions surrounding Bayern Munich’s squad this summer.
All three players have already returned to the club for preseason, but that does not necessarily mean they will still be in Vincent Kompany’s squad when the transfer window closes.
João Palhinha appears to be the most obvious candidate to leave. After spending last season on loan at Tottenham, the Portuguese midfielder is reportedly surplus to requirements at Bayern Munich, although finding a club willing to meet
the Bavarian’s asking price has proven difficult.
Sacha Boey is another interesting case. The French full-back returned to Bayern Munich after his loan spell at Galatasaray, but his future remains uncertain as the club continues to look for ways to reduce the size and cost of its squad.
Then there is Bryan Zaragoza. The Spanish winger has had a difficult time establishing himself at Bayern Munich and has spent time away on loan. With the club possessing significant attacking depth, another departure could make sense.
The problem for Bayern Munich is that wanting to sell players and actually finding suitable offers are two very different things. If the market does not develop as expected, one, two, or perhaps even all three players could still be wearing the Bayern Munich shirt in September.
So, who do you think will still be on the roster when the transfer window closes?
