Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Let’s start the night off by taking a look back over the three biggest stories of Thursday, March 19, 2026.
- Is Ronda Rousey rewriting history? ‘When I was competing before, there were no coaches with MMA experience’: Ronda Rousey acting like she fought in 1997 is genuinely hilarious. Why?!?
- New Jersey promotion books ‘first MMA world title fight between two trans athletes’ to name first-ever ‘Femme Champion’: I’d like to thank the MMAmania community for not making this thread an absolute junk show.
- Report: Mega prospect who once rejected UFC offer targeted for Rousey vs. Carano-led Netflix event: This fight officially has me stoked for Netflix’s MMA debut. There’s something for everybody!
Insomnia
Anthony Pettis hasn’t fought since an August 2022 loss to Stevie Ray in PFL, but the MMA legend is back! He’ll take on Adil Boranbayev (23-13-1) in his home country of Kazakhstan on June 6.
Movsar Evloev isn’t a serious finishing threat, but he’s not inactive either.
It’s hard to imagine there could possibly be a conflict of egos between John and Tyson Fury. Impossible!
I would prefer to see Robert Whittaker make his Light Heavyweight debut against somebody other than one of the three actually good 205-pounders.
Brunno Ferreira was flatlined less than two weeks ago and is already signing fight contracts? Gotta love UFC matchmaking!
If you’re Jon Jones … why respond to this?
Slips, rips, and KO clips
If you don’t control posture, the guard is meaningless.
Excellent use of the Gable Grip to break down the opponent and enable an adjustment into the RNC grip.
Turned off in an instant.
Random Land
I don’t mean to be lazy, but I think the following posts encompass both the usual Random and Music aspects of this section simultaneously.
Sleep well Maniacs! More martial arts madness is always on the way.
