Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Cardinals fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
Arizona Cardinals are fickle, but after this week so are most NFL fanbases.
The Arizona Cardinals won their opening game of the 2025 season, 20-13 over the New Orleans Saints and are 1-0 for the first time in the Jonathan Gannon era.
Yet, fans confidence in the direction of the team
fell quite a bit, after starting off the season with 93% of fans confident in the direction of the team, and now that is down to 77%, even after an opening win.

Like I said, this wasn’t just a Cardinals fans thing, there were overreactions all over the league, as Ravens fans went from 95% to 42%, Bears fans went from 85% to 48%, Lions fans went from 94% to 53% to just name a few. But no team fell more after a win.
So, it’ll be interesting to see the week three poll if they win or lose and how things change.
