A Champions League night at the Santiago Bernabéu rarely needs extra fuel—but when Bayern Munich are in town, the atmosphere naturally reaches another level. On Tuesday, Real Madrid supporters are making sure of it.
Fans are preparing a stadium-wide mosaic to welcome both teams ahead of kickoff, transforming the Bernabéu into a visual statement before a ball is even kicked. The design is expected to be more subtle than some of the club’s past displays, centered around the initials “RMCF” alongside
the original crest used by the club in 1902—a nod to Real Madrid’s deep-rooted history.
The display will stretch across the entire stadium, a full 360-degree mosaic that wraps around the stands. While the complete visual will only be revealed on matchday, anticipation is already building for what promises to be another iconic European night in Madrid.
This initiative is part of a broader effort by supporters to push the team toward a strong result in the first leg, with a place in the Champions League semi-finals at stake. As is tradition, the pre-match build-up will also include fans gathering to the team bus at Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones, creating an intense and emotional lead-up to kickoff.
