According to a report from Hamburger Abendblatt (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich executive Kathleen Krüger will make the move to Hamburger SV to take on a new role as board member for sport (the position Max Eberl holds at Bayern Munich):
Kathleen Krüger will leave FC Bayern and join HSV as new board member for sport on a 4-year contract. A deal is done.
Obviously, this would be a groundbreaking move for Krüger and football alike. Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund addressed
the matter as well.
“We can confirm that Kathleen Krüger has informed us she’s in talks with Hamburg,” Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund told a news conference on Friday (as captured by DPA International via Yahoo). “Kathleen has held a lot of positions at the club, she’s very respected and done a great job. It’s also recognition that she’s being considered for this position at a big club.”
Currently, Krüger is the head of organization and infrastructure at Bayern Munich.
