The possible return of Aaron Donald to the Los Angeles Rams is almost as big as the trade L.A. made to acquire Myles Garrett, but if you ask Cooper Kupp, he’d rather just see AD stay retired. He probably figures the Seattle Seahawks will be busy enough with Garrett and L.A.‘s roster as is. Adding Donald would be a whole other animal, in theory.
It’s pretty amazing that Kupp isn’t even on the Rams anymore, but he’s so synonymous with them that he apparently has to answer questions about the potential
unretirement of AD. Glory to Kupp, a forever member of the Rams as far as I and (apparently) many are concerned.
I didn’t think that the Rams were going to acquire Garrett, they did. I don’t think Donald unretires, but who knows? For this specific Rams squad, who knows what they will do? They’ve surprised so far. Donald unretiring would be insane though. Perhaps the craziest story of the offseason.

Cooper Kupp texted Aaron Donald that he’s ‘not allowed’ to unretire (theramswire)
“That was then, and with rumors swirling that Donald is seriously contemplating a return, Kupp spoke to Rich Eisen about the prospect of facing off against yet another championship teammate.
“I already texted him, and told him he’s not allowed, so we’re good,” Kupp said of Donald possibly returning. “I just texted Aaron and said, ‘Don’t even think about it,’ and left it at that. So, we’re good. I’m not worried about it, because he’s not. Because I told him he can’t. I already nipped it in the bud. No one has to worry.”
The Rams got Myles Garrett. The Seahawks still have the better roster (seasidejoe)
“The Seahawks are a reliable everyday vehicle, capable of everything from a road trip across North America to dropping the kids off at soccer practice or picking up a hot date. They’re not as flashy, but they’re the vehicle you’d trust to still be running 30 years from now.
If next season is simply a race, the Rams could win. But if it’s a battle, the Seahawks still have as many advantages tomorrow as they had yesterday.“
