The New Orleans Saints will hit the road this week to take on the New York Football Giants at Met Life Stadium.
The Saints are looking to redeem themselves after suffering three consecutive home losses as the pressure is mounting following strong criticism from owner Gayle Benson, who made her disappointment with the team’s 1-4 start very clear this week.
Meanwhile, the Giants, led by former Saints quarterback Jameis Winston, enter Sunday’s matchup atop the NFC East at 3-1-1.
New Orleans desperately
needs to find a way to start fast, limit costly penalties and avoid playing from behind. Establishing momentum early and minimizing mistakes will be key if the Saints hope to turn things around and secure a much-needed victory.
PREDICTION: Saints 27 – Giants 24
Perhaps Mrs. Benson’s comments will light a fire under a team desperately searching for answers.
If the Saints can come out swinging, find their offensive rhythm and make enough plays when it matters most, they could strike gold in New York and bring home a win.
