Las Vegas Raiders are in their offseason break before training camp. One of the items to handle during this time is the signing of the remaining draft picks to have them ready when camp opens in late July.
On Sunday they got one of those players to sing on the dotted line. Raiders third round pick Keyron Crawford signed his rookie contract making him officially apart of the franchise.
The 6-foot-4, 253-pound defensive end spent two seasons at Auburn after transferring from Arkansas State. Over his
college career, he played in 47 games and totaled 116 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two passes defensed and one interception.
Crawford should be a backup and a situational pass rusher during his debut season. With him being a raw prospect it will be best for his develeopment to learn how to win in the NFL.
John Spytek now has two rookies left unsigned with Fernando Mendoza and Jermod McCoy.
