What is the story about?

Los Angeles’ club Angel City has announced today that they have placed Jun Endo on the season-ending injury (SEI) list after confirming the Japanese player suffered a right anterior cruciate ligament injury.

The injury occurred during the game on July 11th against San Diego. This is the second time Endo has torn her ACL while playing for Angel City, the first time being in February 2024. It wasn’t until August 2025 that she came back from that injury. Speaking of the 2026 season, she played nine games, totalling 431 minutes.
