FC Barcelona and Spanish men’s national team star Pedri praised Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala in an interview on YouTube channel xBuyer. The 22-year-old Barça midfielder was asked who he would sign for his team, if he could go and get anyone — and named the Bayern superstar.
It’s around the 15:00 mark below; in the translation provided by @iMiaSanMia, Pedri’s words were: “A player that blows my mind is Musiala. He’s very good.”
It’s cool to see these two young stars of the game with such admiration
for each other. Musiala gave his own love to Pedri last year, naming him an “amazing player” alongside Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka.
One thing is for sure: this is a phenomenal footballing generation we have been blessed with. Musiala and Pedri should lock horns many more times in their careers for club and country. Could they ever link up for the same club? If they do, hopefully it’s Pedri coming over to Bayern and not the other way around.
