Kind of a short day of basketball today with just 22 games on national television, but the volume is made up for with quality. 19 of the 22 games on deck for today are part of a conference tournament one way or another, and 12 of them have an NCAA tournament autobid on the line.
All eight women’s basketball games on national television today are the championship game of a conference tournament. That starts with the SoCon title game at 11am Central time, followed by the ACC, the Big Ten, the SEC, the Summit
League, the A10, the Big 12, and finally the Big South. You can get from 11am to 7pm on just women’s basketball title games today, that’s pretty good. The Game of the Day, no matter men’s or women’s, is presumably #4 Texas vs #3 South Carolina in the SEC women’s title game, although #9 Iowa vs #2 UCLA for the Big Ten women’s title is pretty good, too.
On the men’s side, there’s championships in the Missouri Valley, the Big South, the ASUN, and the Summit League. The best men’s game of the day is actually a regular season game, with #8 Michigan State visiting #3 Michigan.
As you could expect with Championship “Week,” there’s a ton of great stuff that’s streaming only, including both Big East women’s basketball semifinal games on Peacock. If you latch onto something great, shout it out in the comments for everyone to turn on ASAP!
Here’s the full national television schedule for the day, with all times Central, as always.
