Maybe the things will get better? It is possible. Also, without expectations, the Arizona Cardinals now are 7.5-point underdogs against the Indianapolis Colts, will the Cardinals feel like they have nothing to lose? Because truly they don’t.
However, after last week, even against a bad opponent across from them, the Arizona Cardinals tried to run the ball a lot with Michael Carter, Bam Knight and Emari Demercado.
The craziest part is, without the Demercado 71-yard endzone fumble, the Cardinals basically
didn’t run the ball effectively sans Kyler Murray.
Michael Carter’s long run against the Tennessee Titans was seven yards. Seems great.
Seems like not adjusting the offense was not ideal, but what are you going to do?
Now, the Cardinals are likely without Kyler Murray for at least this matchup, and Jacoby Brissett, one of the most veteran of veteran backups in the NFL is getting the call.
Will they run the same offense? Will they adjust understanding they need to keep up with one of the top offenses in the NFL?
Could they really get even more conservative?
