Based on comments and interactions I have had here at Turf Show Times, I am under the impression that many of us think the Los Angeles Rams have some of the best depth they have had in the Sean McVay era,
but was that a mistake?
Ahkello Witherspoon has been out and the Rams haven’t been able to replace him. L.A. has been without Steve Avilla (I think he is expected back this week) and Kevin Dotson and the o-line has suffered. If this team loses Puka Nacua, then what? He’s been the passing game, really.
So, it’s early, and the Rams have been great except for two quarters against the Philadelphia Eagles, we don’t know exactly what this team is or isn’t, but what we do seem to know is they are need their starters as much as ever.
Please comment on whatever you want and thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!
Rams gifted perfect chance to fix biggest weakness against Colts (ramblinfan)
“The Los Angeles Rams are working through multiple challenges in the early going of the 2025 season. But with evidence supplied by a recent ESPN analytics article, the Blue and Gold may be in a perfect position to fix one of their biggest weaknesses.
And it aligns with the Week 4 opponent, the Indianapolis Colts.
LA’s offensive line is terrible at pass blocking. In some subjective rankings, this unit is among the worst offensive lines ranked in the NFL this season.
Well, let’s clarify. Los Angeles is struggling with pass protection. You see, LA’s two starting offensive guards, Steve Avila and Kevin Dotson, have been fighting injuries early this season. And the backup guards, Beaux Limmer and Justin Dedich, have been bad at the task.“

Will Davante Adams play vs. Colts? Sean McVay shares latest on Rams WR’s status (ramswire)
“Davante Adams has been one of the most durable wide receivers in the NFL throughout his career, rarely missing any time due to injury in the last few years. After starting the first three games of the season for the Los Angeles Rams, his status for Week 4 is slightly up in the air.
Sean McVay told reporters on Friday that Adams will be listed as questionable to play against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Adams missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to a hamstring injury and will be limited Friday to wrap up the week.
McVay did say he feels good about Adams being able to play, which is encouraging, but he’ll still carry the questionable tag into Sunday.“
