Barcelona have just a week left in the transfer market to finalize their squad for the 2026-27 season and there’s plenty of talk currently about what may still happen.
Alejandro Balde is certainly a player to keep an eye on over next seven days. He was left out of the Barcelona squad to face Elche by Hansi Flick and Manchester United have been linked with a move for the left-back.
If Balde does move on, then Barcelona could be in the market for another defender and may go for Castello Lukeba, according
to The Athletic.
Flick is said to be a “big admirer” of Lukeba who has impressed at RB Leipzig. The 23-year-old’s ability to play at left-back and center-back is also a big plus when it comes to a potential Barcelona transfer.
