There’s just one more game to play before the NFL Wild Card round of the playoffs comes to an end. Playing in the rather non-traditional postseason window of Monday Night Football, the Pittsburgh Steelers
host the Houston Texans.
Buffalo Bills fans likely have strong opinions about tonight’s game, whether that be due to the scheduling fubar the NFL has wrought unto the Bills and San Francisco 49ers, or which team would make for the best potential matchup against Buffalo. Though many will say that it’s tough to win twice against the same team in a given season, lots of Bills fans prefer the idea of Pittsburgh advancing over Houston.
The Bills already defeated the Steelers, using roughly three running plays ad nauseam on offense to embarrass Pittsburgh. Buffalo of course lost to Houston, which might give some pause to say that historical odds favor a Bills rematch with the Texans instead of one versus the Steelers.
In truth, it shouldn’t matter who Buffalo faces so long as they play their game, their way. But NRG Stadium in Houston eludes the win chart for head coach Sean McDermott and quarterback Josh Allen. Who are you “rooting” for this evening?
Some see the Texans as the toughest potential playoff opponent for the Bills. Do you feel the same? Do you want to see Aaron Rodgers earn a deeper playoff run for what could be the final time in his NFL Hall of Fame-worthy career?
Bills Mafia knows how Matt Barkley feels about things in Pittsburgh! With that, here’s your open thread to close the Wild Card round of this season’s NFL playoffs on Monday Night Football. As always, be kind to one another — and in all things… Go Bills!
