Things aren’t going so well for Joe Hendry in WWE right now.
On the Oct. 19 episode of Raw, he was on the losing end of a silly match against JD McDonagh where a giant Funko Pop was smashed with a guitar. After that happened, I wrote, “I don’t know if Hendry is at rock bottom, but he’s pretty close to that point.”
Well, I think Hendry has now sunk to the very bottom after watching this week’s (Oct. 28) edition of WWE Main Event on the Rumble platform.
Hendry came out to the ring and once again sang
about firing Logan Paul. The injured YouTube douchebag soon interrupted and sent out Bronson Reed to destroy the babyface. Joe knew he was in trouble and tried to dive onto Reed before the match officially began. But the bell did eventually ring, and Hendry was squashed with a Tsunami in 32 seconds. Reed gave him another Tsunami after the match was over, because why not?
Keep it here at Cageside tomorrow for a full Main Event recap from my colleague Josh Jagler, who is a very happy Milwaukee Brewers fan right now. In the meantime, let me know in the comments below if getting squashed on WWE’s C-show is exactly where you thought Joe Hendry would be six months after getting called up to the main roster.
