Miami Dolphins cornerback Storm Duck will miss the remainder of the 2025 season due to the knee injury he suffered against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed while speaking
with the South Florida media on Monday afternoon.
Duck returned to action Sunday after missing the team’s previous six contests due to an ankle injury he suffered in week one against the Indianapolis Colts. He played all of 15 defensive snaps before exiting against Atlanta.
Duck entered the league in 2024 after going undrafted out of Louisville. He joined the Miami Dolphins on April 27th, 2024 and made the opening day 53-man roster after an impressive summer with the club. He played in 14 games during his rookie season — starting three. Duck played 358 snaps on defense in 2024, while adding 131 special teams snaps.
His 2025 season ends after playing just 44 defensive snaps in two games, while tacking on 7 special teams snaps.
The Miami Dolphins are left with Rasul Douglas, Jack Jones, Kendall Sheffield, Ethan Bonner and JuJu Brents as the only remaining cornerbacks on the roster. We will keep you updated with any corresponding moves the Dolphins may make after eventually placing Storm Duck on season-ending injured reserve.
