Whenever the Portland Trail Blazers get mentioned in NBA trade rumors, veteran guard Jrue Holiday is inevitably at the top of the list of players other teams are interested in. The 36-year-old has played for five teams, acclaimed at each stop as an amazing teammate and a winner. He has two All-Star nominations and two NBA Championships to his name. He also appears to have found a cozy home in Portland.
That’s not going to stop those trade rumors from churning, though. So we’re going to ask today:
How would you feel if the Blazers dealt Jrue Holiday? Would that make you happy? Sad? Something in between? Do you see him as an important part of the growing roster or a really nice stopgap whose services are transferrable?
For reference, Holiday averaged 16.3 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.6 rebounds in 29.4 minutes per game over 53 appearances for the Blazers last season. He has two years remaining on his current contract at $34.8 million in the coming season, $37.2 million on a player option in 2027-28.
