Good morning, Chargers fans!
Left tackle Rashawn Slater missed practice for the third consecutive day on Monday, despite Jim Harbaugh telling reporters that he was “right on track” returning from his torn patellar tendon. That injury happened on August 7th of last year, marking a full calendar year since the event.
Saturday’s absence was due to a veteran’s rest day, per Harbaugh. But here we are two practices past that and he still has not returned to the field.
Do we think it is the normal caution
the team has shown with their stars over in recent years? Was there a setback that Harbaugh is attempting to keep under wraps so as to not incite even more anxiety around the fan base? Whatever it is, I believe a fourth missed practice will be one of the justifiable tipping points for fans to start worrying about their star tackle.
At this point, how are you all feeling about the latest Slater situation? Are you already freaking out or calm as a cucumber? Let us know below!
