Jamal Musiala is back, and Bayern Munich supporters finally got another glimpse of what they have been missing.
Musiala made his return against Schalke 04, playing 30 minutes as he continued his comeback. While it was encouraging to see him back in competitive action, Bayern Munich is understandably going to take things slowly from here.
Over the next few weeks, Musiala will gradually see his playing time increased, while regular breaks will also be built into his schedule. The priority is making sure
he can handle the demands of regular football without being pushed too quickly per Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
Even though he made his comeback and played 30 minutes against Schalke, Jamal Musiala will continue to be eased back into full workload. Over the next few weeks, Musiala will gradually get more playing time, but will also get regular breaks to avoid overexertion. The goal is for him to be back in top form and play a key role in the team again.
BFW Analysis
For Bayern Munich, there is no reason to rush things. Musiala is too important to the team, and allowing him the time to rebuild his rhythm and confidence could pay off enormously later in the season.
The good news is that the hardest part is behind him: he is playing football again.
Now, Bayern Munich fans can enjoy watching his minutes slowly increase and look forward to seeing more of those familiar moments that make Musiala such a special player. His ability to carry the ball, beat defenders, and create opportunities can give Vincent Kompany another major weapon as the season progresses.
Nobody expects Musiala to immediately return to his absolute best, but with each appearance, he can make progress. For Bayern Munich supporters, that is more than enough reason to be excited about what is ahead.
