We’ve got a big divisional matchup for the second game of the 2025 NFL regular season, and where else would you rather have an important game than Brazil?
Yes, the NFL is in South America’s largest country for the second straight season. São Paulo will welcome in the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers to town. The Chargers are officially the home team, although it’ll probably be a pro-Chiefs
crowd—it probably would’ve been a pro-Chiefs crowd in LA, to be honest.
The Chiefs are coming off a heavy defeat in the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles, ending their historic three-peat quest. The Chargers returned to the playoffs in Jim Harbaugh’s first season, only to get blown out by the Houston Texans. Is Kansas City finally going to have a real Super Bowl hangover? Is Justin Herbert going to have a breakthrough season and take the Chargers to their first playoff win since 2018? We won’t get those answers tonight, but we will hopefully get some intense AFC West football.
Oh yes, and don’t forget that Will Dissly is still the Chargers’ TE1. Good luck, Uncle Will!
