The Cleveland Browns have had seven quarterbacks on their roster, in one form or another, from the start of training camp through the start of Week 6 preparations. QB Tyler Huntley was released, QB Kenny
Pickett was traded away, QB Deshaun Watson is injured and reportedly unlikely to play this season, QB Bailey Zappe is on the practice squad (for now) and QBs Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders, both rookies, are the last two standing with QB Joe Flacco heading to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Currently, the 2026 NFL draft order has the Browns slotted near the top and bottom of the first round, with their pick second, but the Jacksonville Jaguars’ coming much later in the round.
Following the Flacco trade, Cleveland’s future NFL draft picks are as follows:
Browns have 10 NFL draft picks in 2026
- Own picks in rounds 1-5
- 1st round pick from Jacksonville (2025 draft day trade)
- 5th round pick from Las Vegas (QB Kenny Pickett trade)
- 5th round pick from Cincinnati (QB Joe Flacco trade)
- 6th round pick from New York (DT Jowon Briggs trade)
- 7th round pick from Seattle (DE Za’Darius Smith trade)
Cleveland also has an extra selection in the 2027 NFL draft, a fifth-round pick from the Houston Texans from a deal that happened right before the start of the 2025 NFL draft.
The Browns dealt a seventh-round pick in the 2028 NFL draft to acquire OT KT Leveston right before the season started.
