Regardless of your support or animosity towards the freedom of players to transfer at will, everyone – with maybe the exception of someone taking on a rebuild job at a crappy program – can and should agree
that the constant roster overhauling that is part and parcel of today’s college sports landscape sucks. The entire NIL landscape throws an even larger wrench into the process, and there’s unfortunately no easy fix as potential lawsuits that will undoubtedly come from any changes to the current structure create stagnation.
That’s not for us fans to worry about, though. No, let’s focus on the roster churn!
