Tyon Grant-Foster’s eligibility case was set for Thursday, October 23rd, at 3:30 P.m. PT in Spokane, but the NCAA filed a motion on Wednesday, October 22nd, requesting that the case be moved from state
to a federal court.
The NCAA is sticking by its thought process that Grant-Foster’s eligibility expired because “he had the opportunity to play four seasons of his sport.”
Tyon Grant-Foster just wants to play; this whole shebacle from the NCAA is clearly affecting his headspace. He shared on Instagram his pleas to get back out on the basketball court in a competitive manner.
October 28th is the deadline to honor athletic scholarships for men’s basketball, which is pushing mighty close with this postponement of the case.
In the meantime, Mark Few skipped West Coast Conference Media Day in Las Vegas on Thursday, October 23rd, in order to be in town for Tyon Grant-Foster’s case. That proved to be unnecessary.
