Well, Tommy Lloyd and Dusty May both had pretty good weekends.
Lloyd’s team blew out Arkansas and then figured out Purdue at halftime to run away with that game. May’s team figured out Alabama at halftime to run away with their Sweet 16 matchup and then blew out Tennessee in the Elite Eight. Three dominant halves for both teams made for emphatic entrances to the Final Four, a first for both. Many think their Final Four matchup will be the de facto title game.
Lloyd’s team may be the most talented in
the country, featuring three freshmen in the starting line up and another as a key reserve. May’s team is right there in talent, built with older players through the portal. These are the hottest two names in college coaching right now.
If both were ready to accept and you were graced with the chance to pick one of the two as UNC’s next coach, which would it be and why?
