A fun Welterweight matchup has been added to next month’s pay-per-view (PPV).
MMAmania.com confirmed with multiple sources today that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweights Puna Soriano and Nikolay Veretennikov will collide at UFC 320 on Sat., Oct. 4, 2025, inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Soriano (11-4) kicked off his 2025 by viciously knocking out Uros Medic at UFC Vegas 101 in January (watch highlights). Prior to that, he handed Miguel Baeza his walking papers in 2024, battering
him for three rounds en route to a unanimous decision.
The 32-year-old knockout artist is 2-0 since moving down to Welterweight and currently sits at 5-4 inside the Octagon.

With his back firmly against the wall, Veretennikov (13-6) scored his first UFC win in his last outing, defeating Francisco Prado via a competitive split decision, saving his job in the process.
The 35-year-old lost his UFC debut to Danny Barlow via split decision, and then in his next outing, got himself into hot water as he pushed Austin Vanderford after their UFC Seattle scrap, where he got dominated on the floor and then finished in the second round (watch highlights).
With a 1-3 record in the promotion, Veretennikov may need another win to keep fighting in the promotion.
