All offseason long, Pittsburgh Steelers fans were promised that the Aaron Rodgers saga won’t drag on deep into the summer as it did last year. Team president Art Rooney said he expects a decision before the NFL Draft while at the owner’s meetings last month. However, that will not be happening.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Steelers will not be getting an answer from Rodgers this week, and he is not present for their voluntary minicamp.
The Steelers have not received word from Aaron Rodgers on his
future and there is no expectation of a final decision prior to the NFL Draft,“ Rapoport reports.
That leaves Mason Rudolph and Will Howard as the two quarterbacks to lead the Steelers through their voluntary mini-camp this week, and continues to leave everyone unsure if Rodgers will be back for the 2026 season.
