Tom Bischof may be best known for being a professional Bayern Munich footballer, but he is also a 21-year-old who grew up with phones and addictive technology. Sitting down to speak with reporter Julien Wolff (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), the topic drifted from more football-related topics to technology and the new generation, which has been labeled by some as “Generation TikTok.” Would Bischof include himself in said generation? Apparently not:
“I don’t think that applies to me personally,” Bischof
claimed. “I also spend time on TikTok or YouTube. But I know very well how much of that is good for me and when I need and want to concentrate on the more important things. Overall, I really enjoy experiencing things offline, in the real world.”
It is, after all, impossible to become a real professional footballer without doing some things offline. For now, that is. Maybe virtual professional football will be all the rage in the 2100s.
