As the 2026 NFL season gets closer, so does fantasy football. Right now, most fantasy leagues are probably finalizing keepers and trying to plan their rookie dynasty drafts. In fantasy football, the most targeted players on the Buffalo Bills are obviously Josh Allen and James Cook.
Let’s examine a sleeper pick or two that could end up winning you a fantasy title.
The first is tight end Dalton Kincaid, a player worth the gamble. Although he had health issues last season, he still ranked as the 15th
overall tight end in fantasy at ESPN.
A season ago, despite playing on 27% of Buffalo’s offensive snaps, Kincaid led all tight ends with 13 catches that went for more than 20 yards. When he’s on the field he’s a reliable, big-play target for Allen, and the two have established chemistry in Kincaid’s first three seasons.
He’s not going to get the volume of other top-flight tight ends like Brock Bowers or Trey McBride, but if Kincaid is healthy — which is indisputably is a big if — he is primed to outperform his TE15 ranking.
Another upside play on the Bills is Tyler Bass. Yes, the Tyler Bass who missed all last year with a groin injury and has not kicked in a game since. However, hear me out. Bass is steady when on the field and has the leg to get you those bonus points for kicks over 50 yards. For his NFL career, Bass is 16-of-23 on kicks over 50 yards and was 4-of-4 on those kicks in 2024. He’ll also be kicking in a new stadium in Buffalo which is suppose to favor the kicking game due to the stadium’s architecture that is said to limit wind on the field. Kickers can prove to be the difference and can even become a top three scorer on your roster.
Lastly, the wild-card option is the Bills defense. This pick could be very hot or very cold because there’s a lot of unknowns with the unit due to Jim Leonhard’s first season as an NFL defensive coordinator. There’s reason to believe Leonhard will play a more aggressive style of defense that lets the players attack more instead of playing/reacting to what is in front of them. This could lead to an increase in turnovers and hopefully some defensive touchdowns. Buffalo only scored two defensive touchdowns in 2025 — both via Christian Benford.
Honorable mention here is running back Ray Davis. If your league awards points for special teams touchdowns, keep an eye on Davis who led the league in kick return yards in 2025 and earned an All-Pro distinction.
Any other Bills you believe are value selections in fantasy football this season?
