What is the story about?
Penn State football lost in a particularly heartbreaking fashion Saturday night. After an uninspiring and disheartening three quarters of offense, Drew Allar mounted an all-time comeback, only to lose the game in a familiar fashion.
Nittany Lions fans went through all different types of heartbreak. First, it was apathy.
There was plenty of controversy involving the refs, too, which just added gas to the fire.
But, out of nowhere, Penn State gave everyone a chance to believe again. Dan Lanning said the game was over, but it seemed like he spoke too soon.
But it was just a matter of time before it all came crashing down. A new way to be heartbroken. And a brand new slew of fiery fan takes.
