Harry Kane hit the ground running at Bayern Munich, and quickly became the face of the club’s new era. His incredible form, pleasantly consistent to that extent, made him one of the best and most favored
players in the locker room. After scoring game after game and breaking records, Kane is currently on a generational run. If his latest comments are anything to go by, he’s not planning on abandoning that streak any time soon.
Speaking about his future in an interview captured by @MiaSanMia, the England captain made it clear just how much he’s embraced life in Munich, both on and off the pitch.
“The move to Bayern has been one of the best decisions of my life,” Kane said, reflecting on his first seasons in Germany. “It’s been a great step in my career and helped me improve as a player.”
Kane’s strong form and immediate influence have naturally raised questions about his long-term plans, especially with just over 18 months left on his contract. And while nothing is concrete yet, the striker hinted strongly at being open to extending his stay.
“I’m quite open to staying longer,” he said. “I think we’re one of the best teams in Europe. I don’t look at any other team and say I want to go there to improve. At the moment I’m really happy here… I’m sure there will be some discussions over the next couple of months. All I can say is that I’m really happy here and don’t see anything changing in the near future.”
For Bayern fans, Kane’s message is exactly what they hoped to hear. Not only is he settled, but he sees Munich as the ideal place to chase major titles, including the Champions League trophy Bayern are determined to reclaim this year. If both sides move quickly, discussions could begin before the season’s decisive stretch, ensuring stability as Bayern continue building around their superstar No. 9.
