In 2025, pro wrestlers have loosened their grip on kayfabe. But not all fans have done the same.
After months of feuding with Naomi, Jade Cargill seemingly broke character on X, reacting to Naomi’s pregnancy reveal on Raw with three teary-eyed but happy emojis. The post came shortly after Naomi (and her husband, Jimmy Uso) shared the news.
One fan, still deep in the storyline, wasn’t as enthused. Referencing Naomi’s kayfabe attempt to end Cargill’s career out of jealousy, they offered some pointed
advice on how to proceed.
“Girl, you put her baby through a table,” said the spectator. “She’s gonna come for you extra hard now. Iconic feud.”
The post also included some laughing-with-tears emojis, which would indicate that the fan may have been playing into their previous storyline. It’s also possible they were pleased with their handiwork.
Regardless, most are genuinely happy for Naomi, even though it means she has to surrender her Women’s World title. But she did leave with an in-character warning for the rest of the superstars in her division.
“I’mma leave my title here, and I’m gonna give you heifers nine months and some change to do whatever you wanna do with my title,” Naomi said. “And even if I gotta come back breastfeeding with my baby in my arm, I’m coming back to pick up where I left off. And whoever has that title when I do, I strongly advise you to proceed with caution.”
If Naomi does, in fact, return with her baby in hand, that one fan may get their wish, leading to what would undoubtedly be the most absurd table spot in wrestling history — and one very necessary diaper change.
