Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Ravens fans and fans across the country.
The Baltimore Ravens entered the 2026 season with Super Bowl expectations and an 11.5-win over/under. But Jesse Minter is 4-3 through his first seven games and sitting in last place in the AFC North with the NFL’s toughest schedule for the rest of the season. Can he bounce back and bring the Ravens to double-digit wins, or is Baltimore headed
for another disappointing finish? Here are Beatdown’s thoughts:

I only see one clear win on the Ravens’ remaining schedule – Week 10 against the Chargers – and four more games in which I would favor Baltimore. That’s five at worst, nine as expected, and 10 or more at best if this team can stay healthy and field something resembling a second-half defense. But I have little reason to believe either of those things will happen, so I will land in the eight- to nine-win band.

While the vibes around the Ravens are bleak right now, and for good reason, I still believe better days are on the horizon. That is, of course, assuming Lamar Jackson can return within the next couple of weeks without a dropoff in his performance. The Ravens have a tough schedule ahead but with Jackson under center, every game is winnable. I think the team can rally enough to roughly split the remainder of their divisional matchups, beat both NFC North teams (Panthers and Buccaneers), and earn at least one win against another non-divisional opponent (Bills, Jaguars, Texans, Chargers). Even if not exact, this ballpark projection would give the Ravens 10 total wins — meaning they’d have to go 6-4 the remainder of the season. Even amidst continuing injuries and inconsistencies in all three phases, this seems doable. 10-7 will most likely not be enough to win the division anymore but a wild-card playoff berth is still within striking distance.

The Ravens, while in stress, aren’t nearly in as bad of a spot as they were at this time last year. Their record ultimately hinges on the health of Lamar Jackson, but that’s currently a big if. They should win 2/3 against the Browns and Steelers, that puts them at 6. From there, I expect them to win four out of the remaining seven against the Chargers, Bills, Bucs, Texans, Panthers, Bengals, and Jaguars. It they really want some breathing room, they’ll have to take one of these next two games against Jacksonville or Buffalo. If not, it could be tough to sneak into the playoffs and they’ll need a really hot finish. Regardless, I see this as a 10-7 team that should be in contention for a wildcard.

Even though it may feel like the Ravens’ season is imploding after consecutive divisional losses, this team can still make a run with a healthy Lamar Jackson. Any hopes of the top seed in the AFC are probably out the window at this point, and winning the division will be much harder now, but I still expect Baltimore to find their footing over the next month or so and become a dangerous team in the conference. I think 11-6 is a realistic record if Jackson can return this week and remain healthy for the remainder of the season. I expect them to split the next two games against the Bills and Jaguars while losing to the Steelers once and another loss coming to either the Texans or Bengals again. Just getting into the playoffs is all that matters at this point, and I think the Ravens still have the team and coaching staff to make some noise if they get there.
