The Seattle Seahawks are looking to get their season back on track after dropping consecutive games to the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos to fall to 3-3.
It’s certainly not how the team or fans envisioned the start of the Super Bowl defense, but the Seahawks currently find themselves in an early hole in the NFC West and on the outside looking in when it comes to playoff positioning.
Luckily, however, there is plenty of season left for the team to right the ship, and for Sam Darnold to remember
to throw the ball to his teammates rather than to the other team. Of course, the protection provided to Darnold has left much to be desired, and as crazy as it might have sounded just a year ago, the impact of Anthony Bradford’s five game absence has been noticeable.
While the team has yet to make any announcement about a potential return from injured reserve for Bradford, according to a report from Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 Houston, the Seahawks did free up a roster spot Friday with the release of former All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs.
No word yet on the move to fill the open roster spot, but Field Gulls will update readers once that becomes know.
