Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Missouri fans and fans across the country.
The 19th-ranked Missouri Tigers improved to 6-2 (3-2 SEC) on the season with a 34-10 win over Arkansas last week.
Mizzou heads into the final stretch of the season playing meaningful football in November — which is all you can ask for after their preseason over/under win total was set at 6.5.
Missouri’s College Football Playoff hopes still
alive as they control their own destiny— but it’s looking more than likely that the Tigers will need to win against a gauntlet of a stretch.
That stretch starts Saturday at home against No. 10 Texas, followed by at No. 2 Georgia (11/14), home vs No. 8 Kentuck (11/21) and home vs Oklahoma (11/28). Per ESPN, Missouri has the second toughest remaining schedule in the country. A tall task, for sure, but it’s an opportunity for some statement wins to build the resume.
Missouri’s resume is highlighted by a ranked win over Florida — but losses to Mississippi State and Ole Miss leave almost no margin for error.
That begs the question; in our latest SBN Reacts survey — we ask you this: Will Mizzou Football get in the College Football Playoff with a record of 9-3?
