Cam Ward has made 24 starts in the NFL. His record is 4-20. He has thrown for 4,348 yards with 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. It’s been a pretty brutal start to his career. The odds of him turning it around aren’t great, but it is not impossible.
This week, one of the questions we asked was if you have seen enough of Ward to know that he isn’t the long-term answer for this franchise:
72% is a pretty strong number, but I do fall into that camp. Ward just hasn’t shown the progress that I hoped to see
from him this season. Until he can consistently make throws accurately from the pocket, he will continue to see mostly poor results.
We also had the standard confidence question this week:
28% just feels too high for a 1-6 team that will very likely be a 1-10 team by the time the month of November is over.
