Oh boy, this couldn’t have worked out better for the New York Jets! Well, I guess we could be winning simultaneously while the Indianapolis Colts were burning to the ground, but beggars can’t be choosers, I guess.
The Colts are having a fire sale ahead of the 2026 NFL trade deadline! They have already shipped off former All-Pros Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, but more could be coming. Indy is stripping off all the copper piping in their broken-down house, trying to get any value they can. As
they continue to do that, the worse they will be in 2026.
Jets fans, let me talk directly to you. We haven’t had a true franchise quarterback in a long time. There are two types of teams in the NFL: the haves and the have-nots. Those that have a QB are looking pretty and have a shot to win it all every year. The ones that don’t are swimming in circles with no real shot of ever having confetti rain down on them.
The most important thing for the Jets is getting that QB. The Colts provide us the best chance to finally do it in the upcoming 2027 NFL Draft. We still have more time before the trade deadline. Colts should continue to burn things, and we, as Jets fans, will dance around the fire doing some strange dance in euphoria.
