Happy Wednesday, everyone! At the time of writing this post, Game 4 of the World Series has only just gotten underway, but even that feels like a miracle considering the incredible length of Game 3. Game 3 seems
to be all anyone wants to talk about, with the Jays now shying away from pitching to Shohei Ohtani entirely (a far cry from their Game 1 bravado of fans chanting, We don’t need you). The Canadian club is going to need to pick things up if they have any hope of ending their 30-year drought.
Since the World Series is decidedly all that’s on anyone’s mind, we’ll have a lot of that ahead, but there are also some tidbits on other happenings around baseball, including some very early speculation about free agency, and also which team Aroldis Chapman would rather retire than play for.
Let’s get right into it.
